
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the publication of the Moomin novels, exhibition Tove Jansson and the Moomins is being held with the cooperation of HAM Helsinki Art Museum.
Tove Jansson (1914-2001), creator of the Moomin series was also a multidisciplinary artist. This exhibition will reflect on her creative world and unravel the charm of the Moomin series in relation to her life through approximately 300 artworks and objects, including early oil paintings, caricatures from pre- and post-World II, original drawings and sketches of Moomin novels and comics, and her personal items.
